Hundreds of library marketing and communications professionals will descend on St. Louis, Missouri for LMCC ’25 in one week! Whether you are a repeat attendee or a first timer, you are in for a treat.
Here is what you can expect:
- Hours of Compelling Content
Bring a notebook, because you’ll be jotting down inspiring ideas left and right! There is nothing like attending a niche conference built around the skills and topics of your very specific role. The conference calendar is jam-packed with useful content from crisis communication to storytelling and more.
- Meet Like-Minded Colleagues
There is nothing more validating than gathering in a room with your library marketing and communication peers to celebrate shared wins, generate inspiring ideas, and commiserate over shared challenges. Don’t forget your business cards, because you are going to want to connect and keep in touch with everyone you meet.
- Catered Breakfast & Lunch on Conference Days
Your conference fee includes access to a scrumptious Hyatt breakfast buffet and plated lunch experience, which will keep you nourished for networking and learning. Dinner is on your own—you can join a dine-around to a nearby restaurant, form your own dinner group, or if you need some time to unwind on your own, there are also plenty of delivery options.
- Opportunities to decompress and connect
Cuddle with friendly pups when a group of therapy dogs visits, de-stress with a group yoga sesh, or explore the St. Louis restaurant scene with new pals! You can also bring along your preferred portable craft-in-progress project (like knitting, crocheting, drawing, etc.) for a group craft get-together complete with a visit from the Poetry Fox (really).
- Sightseeing galore
In your spare time, take in the sights in St. Louis. The hotel is located directly adjacent from Gateway Arch National Park, so you can check off a visit to a National Park while you’re in town! The free visitor center was remodeled in 2018 and will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about westward expansion in the United States. Buy a tramway ticket for $15-19 to go to the top of the Arch for a truly unique experience. (Note: Due to ongoing government shutdown, double check open hours as they may be limited.)
Other fun activities an Uber-ride away include the Budweiser Brewery Experience where you may even be able to meet the Clydesdales, the St. Louis Zoo (free), and the St. Louis Art Museum (free).
