By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

1. Recognize the elements that make a library story newsworthy and tailor messaging for different types of media outlets.

2. Apply step-by-step strategies for pitching stories on both local and national levels.

3. Strengthen staff and leadership confidence through media readiness techniques.

4. Use templates, calendars, and checklists to organize and streamline media outreach.
